Most lawmakers at the National Assembly, who at some point, stayed abroad have committed one serious offence or another, but the moment they arrived in Nigeria, their next move would be to join politics which they believed would fetch them quick money. Some of them are now in the senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, making laws for the people of the country which should not have been so. We have also seen some ex-governors in Nigeria, who stole billions of money during their tenure of office, after serving for four or eight years as governors in their respective states, go to the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as lawmakers, where they would continue their dirty agendas which is bad. This ugly system has affected Nigeria as a country so badly on the international stage. Even the president of Nigeria was alleged to have had some skeletons in his cupboard which Nigerians both at home and abroad are aware of, but still, the Independent National Electoral Commission of Nigeria manipulated the system and installed him into office. What a corrupt system. Now another group of politicians in Nigeria are warming up for the 2027 election with their deceitful methods, just to get the people of Nigeria to their side and if eventually they are elected to office, all the promises made to Nigerians would be thrown into the trash box and no one would hold them responsible for anything. This is the situation in Nigeria which is so terrible.
