There is no good thing in life that comes easily. This means that if an individual is righteous to a certain level, believe it or not, obstacles would always come their way.
We are saying this because of what is happening to Mr Peter Obi since he declared his intention to lead Nigeria.
Mr Peter Obi is the presidential candidate of Nigeria Democratic Congress, with outstanding records, who has faced a series of verbal attacks from those who do not want him to become the President of Nigeria because of his style of leadership, which a majority of Nigerians has already adopted.
It was also alleged that those who are verbally attacking Mr Peter Obi are a few members of the ruling political party and their agents because they know that the 2027 election is sure for Mr Peter Obi.
Again, Mr Peter Obi is not in government. He only served as a governor of Anambra State years back, and the records available to the public showed that Mr Peter Obi is clean. No trace of corruption or mismanagement of public funds has ever been attached to his name. He has not been invited in Nigeria by any law enforcement agency or by any agency anywhere in the world to explain any form of immorality.
But despite all these, some governors in Nigeria who are indirectly working for the government of Nigeria, as alleged, have been trying to pull Mr Peter Obi down. Yet, up till today, his popularity across Nigeria continues to grow beyond imagination, which is great.
Mr Peter Obi has proven to be the favourite of most Nigerians and one of the best among all the presidential candidates. Hence, they would want him to lead Nigeria come 2027.
We would also use this opportunity to inform those who are trying so hard to discredit Mr Peter Obi at all costs to leave him alone because he is already the chosen one, which is the truth.
So, come 2027, Nigerians shall have a new leader who is going to carry everyone along and make Nigeria great again.
