The ADC political party will die a natural death if the presidential ticket is not given to Mr. Peter Obi, who is the choice of the majority of the people of Nigeria.
The manipulation going on in the African Democratic Congress is certainly going to make the political party unpopular or end its existence. We are saying this because Mr. Atiku Abubakar does not believe in a free and fair primary election. So, he is going to use his dollars to win the primary, and in the end, the African Democratic Congress will lose the 2027 presidential election to the All Progressives Congress.
Our point here is this: if Mr. Atiku Abubakar wins the primary of the ADC, which we know he could secure with his money, then the truth is that Nigerians who are going to cast their votes in the 2027 election should allow President Bola Tinubu to continue in office. This is because Mr. Atiku Abubakar is not better than President Bola Tinubu. These are elderly, corrupt men who have no good intentions for the people of Nigeria. So, why would Nigerians change the one already in office for another terrible one with a questionable record?
Again, Mr. Peter Obi is the choice of the majority of Nigerians because Nigerians believe in him. So, if it happens that the presidential ticket is not given to him and there is a possibility for him to move to another political party and contest, then he should do so immediately.
We also believe that Mr. Peter Obi is the face of the African Democratic Congress as a political party, and if he leaves the party, all the Obidients are going to follow him, which in the end would make the ADC unpopular.
Based on what we know, and in our desire for Nigeria as a country to work better, we are appealing to members of the African Democratic Congress to allow Mr. Peter Obi to be the flag bearer of the political party in 2027, with Alhaji Kwankwaso as his running mate. With this combination, APC and President Bola Tinubu can be defeated in the 2027 presidential election.
