Nnamdi Kanu

Who are those in Nigeria allegedly behind Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s continued detention? They should let him go in the interest of peace.

Various law courts in Nigeria have acquitted Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who is the IPOB leader, saying that he has not committed any offence. But the government of Nigeria has refused to let him go for reasons best known to them. So we are appealing to the government of Nigeria to obey the law court orders by setting Mazi Nnamdi Kanu free. We also believe that, if he is released today, the insecurity in the southeast part of Nigeria would be reduced, if not completely eradicated. We would also use this opportunity to call on the government of Nigeria to look into the destruction of farms by Fulani herdsmen in Nigeria to see if the government can put an end to it. The destruction of lives and properties across Nigeria which is being carried out by the Fulani herdsmen has reached an alarming level. This horrible situation has given Nigeria a bad image before the world as among the unsafe countries in the world, which we had expected the leadership of Nigeria to have addressed so that Nigerians can have peace in their homes. Again, ranching would be great for those engaged in cattle business, hence we are appealing to the government of Nigeria to look into it. Doing so would safeguard the lives and properties of the people of Nigeria.
