The economic problems that Nigerians are facing today were created by the Nigerian voters themselves out of tribalism, insisting that their tribesman should be the president of Nigeria. The Viewers Corner News team revisited the town hall meeting at the Chatham House in the United Kingdom, where Alhaji Bola Tinubu, now the president of Nigeria, delegated questions to Mr Ben Ayade, Mr Nasim El-Rufai and Mr Dele Alake. This issue of delegating questions showed the unreadiness of a man who is not ready to lead Nigeria, which we expected Nigerians to have understood. Now hear this: Alhaji Bola Tinubu did not promise Nigerians that he was going to make Nigeria great, so he should not be blamed for most things that are happening in Nigeria today; rather, the blame should go to Nigerians, who voted for Alhaji Bola Tinubu to become the president of Nigeria. This is the truth; take it or leave it. Today, insecurity, corruption and poor management of the economy of Nigeria have brought the country to a standstill, which is bad. Somehow, if Nigerians had elected a candidate, irrespective of the person’s tribe, by now, the country would have been better than what it is. However, we are hoping and believing that in the next election, which is coming in 2027, a competent leader will be elected to manage the resources of Nigeria.
