JUSTICE BOLANLE ADEPELE-OJO, THE CHIEF JUDGE OF OSUN STATE RELEASING 23 PRISON INMATES IS A WONDERFUL NEWS.

Viewers Corner News reliably learnt from our source in Osogbo that Justice Bolanle Adepele-Ojo, the chief judge of Osun state has ordered for the immediate release of 23 prison inmates in the state prisons. Justice Bolanle who gave the directive when she visited Prisons in Ilesha and Ie-Ife lamented over the congestion of  Nigeria prisons because of slow pace of judicial dispensation and delay in investigation procedures by the Nigerian police. According to the report, out of the 210 inmates in the Ile-Ife Medium prison, 178 inmates are on the awaiting trial list while only 32 inmates have been sentenced and are serving their prison terms. Viewers Corner News applaud Justice Bolanle Adepele-Ojo for releasing these 23 inmates and we also appeal to other Chief Judges in various states in Nigeria to emulate Justice Bolanle Adepele-Ojo in order to decongest Nigerian prisons.
