The former Anambra state governor, Mr Peter Obi to some people did well when he was the governor of Anambra state in Nigeria which is nice but his statement has proven him to be something else. Lots of people Viewers Corner News correspondent spoke with in Nigeria believed that he was a very corrupt governor and he is still a man that can never be trusted as a politician. Not too long ago, he said that he has been wearing ONLY ONE WRIST WATCH FOR THE PAST 17 YEARS meaning that he does not believe in worldly acquisitions and that he is contented with one thing he has as long as is serving him nicely which sounds so good but our findings revealed that this same man (Mr Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra state in Nigeria) has been seen by lots of people in different occasions in Nigeria wearing different watches. We also wish to bring to his notice that he is among those politicians who spent huge some of money to acquire an apartment in Ikoyi, Lagos (Nigeria) where some billions of Naira and other foreign currencies were found. Though he (Mr Peter Obi) was not involved in the alleged scandal but has also different mansions built in Nigeria etc. Our (Viewers Corner News team) question is this, why was he using wrist watch to prove his point when he knew he was lying? Sincerely little things like this counts a whole lot and this statement of Mr Peter Obi shows the level of intelligence of some Nigerian politicians who feel that they can manipulate and fool the people of Nigeria at all times which is bad. Nigerians are wiser now, therefore before you politicians in the country (Nigeria) come out to speak on any issue, please prepare yourselves properly and crosscheck your facts instead of coming to a forum to fool yourselves thinking that you can manipulate Nigerians the way you like. Such attitude may be possible in the past but not anymore because we live in a world of transparency now. Again what Mr Peter Obi (the former governor of Anambra state) said has also been said by some Nigerian politicians among them is Senator Ben Bruce who said in the past that HE HAS NEVER FLEW FIRST CLASS EACH TIME HE TRAVELS WITH AIRPLANE which also was proven to be a lie. Now with this group of people being in power, how can anyone trust them to perform their duties without cutting terrible corners when they lie at every opportunity that comes their way? We (Viewers Corner News team) leave Nigerians to answer this question and decide whether to vote for them to lead the country (Nigeria) in future elections when they come asking for your votes.This is food for thought and we should always remember that the choice we make concerning who we elect to various offices will determine how successful the country (Nigeria) is going to be.
