GOVERNOR AYODELE FAYOSE OF EKITI STATE ALLEGEDLY SAID THAT HE WAS TRICKED INTO DONATING 10 MILLION NAIRA TO OBASANJO’S LIBRARY PROJECT, JUST LOOK AT THE TYPE OF LEADER THE PEOPLE OF EKITI STATE BROUGHT TO LEAD THEM. THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE.

Donation of any kind by a state or by an individual to anyone is good, there is nothing wrong about that most especially when such donation would assist in making the project a success and at the end would bring benefits to the people in one way or the other. In doing such donation which governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state allegedly said showed that he has credibility problem and may not have been the best person to lead the people of his state. We say so because if an invitation is sent to any state or to an individual, it is our responsibility as leaders to think properly before jumping into the donation box to spend our state money or individual fund. Somehow everyone has the chance of saying no (I will not donate to such project) or yes (I will donate to such project), it is not a must do thing and any leader who does that without first thinking whether it is right to do so or not, just like Ayodele Fayose did and later started demanding for a refund is an individual with questionable character and such action should be regarded as medicine after death because you (Ayo Fayose) were not on gun point to make such donation. Therefore we (Viewers Corner News team) are appealing to Nigerian voters to kindly be very careful and mind the kind of people they vote into office to lead them, do not use sentiment as a yardstick to vote for any individual because such attitude has affected the ways jobs are done in Nigeria. People who can not even manage themselves properly are elected to run the affairs of a state or even a nation which is one of the reasons of poor performances among Nigerian leaders. Time has come for Nigerian people to start asking questions to know exactly who they are voting for to lead them so that a wrong choice would not be made at the end.
