Peter Obi

Most Nigerians made it clear that the coalition of political parties in Nigeria that has Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party as a vice-presidential candidate shall not get their support.

Information reaching the Viewers Corner News from our correspondent in Abuja, Nigeria, revealed that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his camp are allegedly offering Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party a vice presidential candidate position while Alhaji Atiku Abubakar stands as the presidential candidate. Based on this, some Nigerians reacted negatively to this matter. A few of them who spoke to our correspondent revealed that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has been contesting to be the president of Nigeria for so many years, and each time he tried, Nigerians said no, that they do not want him to lead Nigeria. Nigerians said that Mr. Peter Obi is a movement and can be trusted to deliver, so they would rather support Mr. Peter Obi than Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. They said that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s time had passed, so electing him to lead Nigeria would not bring much benefit to the people of Nigeria. Nigerians also said that if Mr. Peter Obi accepted Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s offer, Nigerians would not support him. Now, hear our point on this matter: based on Mr. Peter Obi’s track record, we completely agree with those Nigerians who want Mr. Peter Obi to lead the country. Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is a great man, but Nigeria needs an active person to lead the country. So we are appealing to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to support a young leader to take up the mantle of leadership while staying as the elder statesman that he is. We also believe that if Mr. Peter Obi is made the president of Nigeria, the country will thrive. But again, the decision on who leads the country is in the hands of the people of Nigeria come 2027, so let the needful be done.
