Tinubu

No leader in Nigeria, both at the state and the federal level, since Nigeria changed to democracy, has ever done a good job of ending the economic hardship of the people of Nigeria.

The Viewers Corner News team carried out a comprehensive analysis of past governments in Nigeria both at the state and the federal level. Only a few state governors did a bit of work in the past. However, their jobs were not enough when compared to the huge resources at their disposal, like the huge monthly allocations and the internally generated revenues from their various states, which they squandered. Even when ex-president Obasanjo was in power, it was corruption and victimization of Nigerians most of the time, instead of using the resources of Nigeria to make the country great. This means that the government of the Peoples Democratic Party’s past leadership of Nigeria did worse things to the country than the present All Progressives Congress government. The only difference is that once a government is no longer in power in Nigeria, the next one that comes in would be the focus of all Nigerians. So if it turns out that the new one is not performing well, Nigerians would forget the past ones that destroyed the economy of the country and start blaming the current one. We are saying so because when ex-president Goodluck Jonathan was in power, it was corruption all through, instead of using the resources of Nigeria to develop the country. Now, Nigerians have forgotten about the destruction that PDP/ex-president Goodluck Jonathan brought upon the country. The same thing happened when ex-president Buhari was in power. Nigerians were killed daily by the Fulani Herdsmen, and no Nigerian would ever challenge them. Now President Bola Tinubu, who allegedly rigged himself to office, using the Independent National Electoral Commission to achieve his objective, is taking all the blame. Again, the topic on the minds of all Nigerians, which is the truth under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu’s government is corruption, insecurity, and hunger. Our question is this: who is to be blamed for these problems? It is the people of Nigeria because before the election and also on the day of the election, leaders would use the money they allegedly stole from the treasury of Nigeria to bribe voters, so that they could win the election and the moment they are in power, instead of doing what took them there, they would resort to stealing the money which would have been used to pull Nigerians out of poverty. Therefore in our opinion, no government since Nigeria started practising democracy has ever done a good job for the country, which is the truth; take it or leave it. Now, hear this: if President Bola Tinubu’s government is no longer in power, Nigerians will forget the problems they faced under his leadership and focus their attention on the new government. So to eradicate these problems, Nigerians should vote wisely. Those who led Nigeria in the past should be called upon to give account of their deeds. Doing so would change the way things are done. Nigerians should not vote based on ethnicity, but vote based on the credibility and the integrity of the person in question. This is one of the ways progress can come to Nigeria.
