MEXICAN AUTHORITIES HAVE ARRESTED MARTIN GUADENCIO (THE SUSPECTED DRUG TRAFFICKER AND MONEY LAUNDERER) WHO IS WANTED IN THE UNITED STATES.

Mexican authorities said it has arrested Martin Guadencio Avendano Ojeda (the suspected trafficker and money launderer) who is wanted in the United States. According to the report, Martin Guadencio Avendano Ojeda  was arrested recently in Zapopan, western Jalisco state and he was allegedly carrying about 2.2 pounds of cocaine and two guns when he was captured. The United States Treasury Department in 2001 named Martin Guadencio as the director of a drug distribution network and money-laundering which has its base in Culiacan (Mexico). This cartel (Sinaloa cartel) also facilitates the smuggling of drugs into the United States according to the U.S Treasury Department and this is a new blow to the drug cartel as its leader, Joaquin Guzman who escaped from a prison in July 11, 2015 through a tunnel (El Chapo) was recaptured in January 8, 2016 by Mexican marines.
