Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels have reportedly shot down Saudi Arabian drone near Yemen border with Saudi Arabia, in the district of Madghal in Marib province. Brigadier General Yehia Sarie, Houthi military spokesman confirmed the news, stating that the drone (CH4 UAV) was produced by Chinese Aerospace Science and Technology Corp. (CASC) which is the highest contractor for the Chinese space program. He also said that the drone which was downed by Houthi rebels was run by the Saudi military. since 2015, the Iran-backed Houthi rebels have been fighting Saudi-led and U.S-backed military coalition. The Yemeni war which the United Nations said is the world’s worst humanitarian crisis has killed over 112,000 people.
