It may be true that before governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state came to power, he was a businessman but our (Viewers Corner News team) findings revealed that his businesses were not so lucrative as he made people believed in Nigeria. So when he became the governor of Imo state, he saw that opportunity as a gateway to riches, right now governor Rochas Okorocha is among the richest governors in Nigeria and if we examine further, how did he end up becoming one of the richest governors in the country (Nigeria)? Such classification has only one answer which is, as the governor of Imo state he may have done the unthinkable just like other governors in Nigeria which is corrupt enrichment. Now this same governor Rochas Okorocha who is owing workers years of unpaid salaries is saying that he has fulfilled most of his campaign promises to the Imo state people, this is laughable. Another painful aspect is that the Imo state Seniors (Pensioners) are being owed years of unpaid pension allowances which is hanging on his neck up till now but in December 2015, he was able to spend 650 million Naira on Christmas celebration alone while workers’ salaries and pension allowances for Imo state Seniors (Pensioners) were not paid. Is this not wickedness? Again in Imo state there is nothing so much to write home about and the people who voted for him to lead them could not say anything which is bad. However we (Viewers Corner News team) have decided to assist the Nigerian voters who would like to listen by pointing out the very wrong sides of those would be governors that may be contesting for the 2019 governorship election in Nigeria based on our findings concerning them so that the Nigerian voters would know whether to cast their ballots for them or not. We believe that if you get real information concerning who you are voting for, then you would be able to make a good decision before casting your vote. Please do not let any one sweet talk you into voting for the wrong person, let the decision be yours alone and do that based on the person’s past records. In doing so you would be able to choose a good leader (a governor) for your state. Some of these governors in Nigeria are very corrupt and are leading the people of their various states with deceitful system, therefore we would always advise Nigerian voters to vote only on merits and not sentiments because the type of leaders you choose would determine how successful your state would be. The Nigerian people deserve the best from their state governors because the monthly federal allocation and the internally generated revenue from their various states if properly used would have been more than enough to create infrastructures for their states which would at the end bring benefits to the people. This time around we pray and hope that the Nigerian voters would choose their leaders wisely.
