Viewers Corner News team applaud those security personnel who stopped the deputy governor of Ondo state (Nigeria) Mr Agboola Ajayi from packing his personal belongings out of his official residence at night. The right thing to do if he is honest would be to properly hand over to the authority before moving out. Why trying to move his personal belongings at night? Is it because he is in charge and there is nothing anyone can do to him? It was not the right thing to do which brings us to this issue of impunity and lack of respect for the law among Nigerian leaders which we (Viewers Corner News team) have been talking about for so long. It is true that everyone has right to move freely and do his or her things at any giving time but in this circumstance, Mr deputy governor should hand over properly before removing any pin he may claim to have brought to the state house. No matter your status, it has to be done during the day and not at night except clearance has been obtained from the appropriate authority which is the truth. Again, Hon. Agboola Ajayi who is the deputy governor of Ondo state recently joined Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of Nigeria and wanted to use his position to intimidate those security personnel but at the end, he did not succeed. Although we (Viewers Corner News team) do not know the problem Hon. Agboola Ajayi may be having with the state governor that prompted his action to move his belongings out at that particular time of the night but then doing so was not the right time. What do you expect Nigerians both home and abroad to think? Sometimes when one look at the way some leaders in Nigeria are doing things, one would keep on wondering if most of them have sense or even went to school at all and on the issue of leadership such group of individuals can not lead well. This attitude is affecting Nigeria as a country and the most surprising aspect is that when you point it out to them, they would still not learn which is too bad. However, we (Viewers Corner News team) shall continue to appeal to Nigerian voters to be mindful of who they elect to lead them. Voters please ask questions concerning your choice of candidate to know if the person is actually fit to lead and get things done the right way. If you elect leaders without vision, poverty would be the end result just like we (Viewers Corner News team) have seen in most states across Nigeria. Please choose your leaders wisely and do not vote for anyone using sentiment as a yardstick because at the end, you may be disappointed. Vote for who would get the job done, even if the candidate is not from your region but as long as he or she can deliver nicely which is exactly what is required to move Nigeria to the next level.
