Looking at what is happening in Nigeria for quite sometime, it becomes absolutely clear and right to say that the country (Nigeria) is in a hopeless situation. Politicians in Nigeria and those appointed to lead various agencies have ruined the country (Nigeria). Only a disciplined sort of individual will fix the problem created by corrupt Nigerian politicians and to do that, the individual would have to tightened the borders of the country (Nigeria) so that those corrupt politicians and their associates with fat bank accounts abroad would not be able to run away from Nigeria like the former petroleum minister (Diezani Alison Madueke) did. Then a probe would begin and anyone found guilty of looting public fund should not be giving any option of fine, such individual on conviction would be allowed to complete his or her sentence in any prison in Nigeria. Even if another government is put in place, those convicted should not be released. Such punishment would be seen as a lesson to those who are planning to go into politics with a different agenda on how to loot the treasury of the country (Nigeria). The way Nigeria is at the moment, there are lots of people waiting for 2023 to come so that massive looting of the treasury of Nigeria would begin and if not guided now, it would be worse than what is happening at the moment in the country. The people of Nigeria need to have a rethink on who to bring forward after President Buhari’s tenure ends. We (Viewers Corner News team) shall continue to give our opinion on what is best for Nigeria as a country, where all the people of the country (Nigeria) would have the right to choose who they want as leaders which can only be possible when you know them properly. Do not sell your conscience by accepting money from a corrupt politician because if he or she is elected to office, looting of the treasury would be the sole objective of such individual which brings us to Edo state governorship election. Now manipulation is going on in Edo state and people are already dancing with Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and his governorship candidate (Pastor Ize Iyamu) without asking questions. This is the same Pastor Ize Iyamu who Comrade Adams Oshiomhole said in the past that stole millions of Naira and now that same man is coming to stand for an election in Edo state. If assuming he (Pastor Ize Iyamu) wins the governorship election, what do you think would happen to Edo state treasury at the end? It is still the people of Edo state (Nigeria) who would suffer the hardship, by then Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and his candidate may have used the people of Edo state to add more billions of Naira to their already existing wealth. Although governor Godwin Obaseki may not be a saint but he is hundred percent better than Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and his governorship candidate (Pastor Ize Iyamu), therefore we (Viewers Corner News team) are appealing to the good people of Edo state (Nigeria) to have a rethink before casting their votes to whoever between governor Godwin Obaseki and Pastor Ize Iyamu because any mistake made come September 2020 after the governorship election would definitely affect the people of Edo state. Again, Viewers Corner News team is reminding voters in the state (Edo state) to vote wisely.
