If any Nigerian voter casts his or her vote for the All Progressives Congress and President Bola Tinubu in the upcoming presidential election, such a person should be regarded as having rewarded failure.
We ask a simple question. Why should any Nigerian cast his or her vote for the All Progressives Congress and President Bola Tinubu in the upcoming presidential election? Is it because President Bola Tinubu and his political party have fulfilled their promises or even implemented half of them? Nigerians know that the answer is no.
President Bola Tinubu also said in the past that if he is unable to give Nigerians electricity and other things he promised, then when he comes back to ask for another tenure of office, Nigerians should not vote for him. We are therefore holding that statement against him. We are also calling on Nigerians who want the country to grow and move to the next level to reject the request of the All Progressives Congress and President Bola Tinubu for another tenure of office.
Many believe that President Bola Tinubu and his political party have nothing new to offer the people of Nigeria except more taxes, insecurity, and economic hardship. A Nigerian man who bought some bottles of beer to relax himself recently narrated how several hundreds of naira were added to his bill as part of the current tax policy. He paid the money immediately but was not happy about it.
Paying tax is not the real problem. The question Nigerians continue to ask is what the government is using the tax money to do. This has become a very serious question that many Nigerians are asking every day.
Things could become worse if President Bola Tinubu is given another opportunity to remain in office beyond 2027. Nigerians are therefore encouraged to be guided and to think carefully before casting their votes for any political party in the 2027 election.
