Viewers Corner News was informed by our source in Kinshasa that two people were killed during weekend protests in Democratic Republic of Congo, calling for President Joseph Kabila to step down. According to the report, one man was killed in Kinshasa and another shot dead by a guard in Mbandaka. The protests backed by Bishop Donatien Nshole’s organisation started after President Joseph Kabila refused to step down and conduct election in the country. He (President Joseph Kabila) is supposed to leave office in December 2016 after his second tenure ended but has refused to elect his successor.
