We (Viewers Corner News team) have written articles on this topic in the past and we are doing so again. Governor Ambode of Lagos state is a great leader who has performed better than all the governors who were there before he came to power. He has vision for Lagos state and Nigeria in general.
Now hear this: Our (Viewers Corner News team) recent investigation revealed that some godfathers in Lagos state and their allies are doing underground works to have him (Governor Ambode) removed from office by denying him the chance of becoming the flag bearer of APC in Lagos state (Nigeria). We (Viewers Corner News team) also gathered that he has refused to play dirty and as such, he has to be kicked out of office.
We (Viewers Corner News team) are pleading with those nursing this ambition to kindly put the people of Lagos state and their welfare first because governor Ambode has really worked very well in the state and deserves to complete his second and finally tenure of office. Honestly, time has come for every politician in Nigeria to think beyond personal interest, work for the betterment of the people of your various states which brought you all to power. The voters in Nigeria should not always dance to the tune of what their godfathers ask them to do. Democracy permits everyone to have his or her say in every process and if you are told to vote for someone, ask questions because it is your right to know who and why you are voting for a particular candidate. If you are convinced with the answers you get, then you can cast your vote for whoever. Voting for your own choice of candidate is the beginning of development for your state and Nigeria in general, do not vote for someone you do not know whether he or she would deliver nicely or because someone somewhere told you to do so.
Again, if governor Ambode decides to leave APC now, he may go with his supporters and that alone may deny APC the possibility of winning Lagos state (Nigeria), therefore we (Viewers Corner News team) are appealing to those on this road to have a rethink and get things done the right way.
