Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi state and Peoples Democratic Party (P.D.P) of Nigeria (Ebonyi state chapter) have manipulated the local government election in Ebonyi state to suit their selfish purposes without minding the rights and welfare of the people of Ebonyi state as defined by democracy. They perfected their plans by implanting their own members in all the local governments in Ebonyi state awaiting the 2019 governorship election. The local government election conducted in Ebonyi state recently should be regarded as an eye opener to all the political parties in the state that are nursing the ambition of contesting for the governorship position in 2019. We (Viewers Corner News and the advisory team) urge them to sit tight and plan their homework properly because governor David Umahi of Ebonyi state has made all necessary plans to re-install himself back to power which we are certain he will fail but then one thing we know for sure is that the Ebonyi state people have the final say to choose who would lead them come 2019. Viewers Corner News source in the state informed us that during the local government election which was recently held in Ebonyi state, the turnout was very low and not encouraging at all but when the result was announced by the Ebonyi State Independent Electoral Commission, the figures that were made available to the public was so huge which got lots of people in the state talking. Even some election observers who came from Anambra state were shocked and doubted the authenticity of the result of the local government election and the surprising aspect was that the Ebonyi State Independent Electoral Commission which should have been neutral were allegedly compromised (Corruption). However the APC (Ebonyi state chapter) and other political parties in the state wanting to contest for the governorship position should plan their homework properly because the manipulations that would come in 2019 which governor David Umahi and his agents have perfected plans to carry out would be huge, in local government level, he has succeeded in electing his members in key positions awaiting 2019. We (Viewers Corner News) learned that most people in Ebonyi state were surprised when the local government election result was announced, the people of Ebonyi state made it clear that governor David Umahi and his party (P.D.P) will not get their votes in 2019 because the hardship he brought to the people of Ebonyi state is still hitting them real hard and the only solution is to vote him and his agents out of office come 2019.
