It was alleged that the wife of the president of Nigeria, Mrs. Remi Tinubu, is requesting that her office be funded by the government of Nigeria. Based on this, we are calling on the appropriate authorities in Nigeria to interpret the constitution of Nigeria properly to Mrs. Remi Tinubu, who is the first lady of Nigeria. We are saying so because she needs to understand that there is no constitutional provision for the office of the first lady of Nigeria, and any money put into such an area by the government of Nigeria should be seen as illegal and a waste. Now hear this: if Mrs. Remi Tinubu wants to operate a charity organization, which most first ladies do around the world, then she has the right to do so, but such an organization should be funded exclusively by her or good people in the country who believe in her programs. It is not the responsibility of the government of Nigeria to fund such an office; instead, the government of Nigeria should channel their money and energy into building infrastructures that would benefit the people of Nigeria. The economy of Nigeria is collapsing, which should be the main focus of the government of Nigeria and not the funding of the office of the first lady of Nigeria, which is not recognized by the constitution of Nigeria. We shall continue to speak against this aspect of rascality until it gets the attention of the government of Nigeria, who would then put an end to it.
