Some countries in Africa are now waking up to understand that the way their forefathers trusted the West and gave up all their natural resources, almost for free, has brought them pain and hardship, which made most of the countries in the West believe that African countries can be played around like toys. But now, some African leaders are changing the narratives. Burkina-Faso has been manufacturing military trucks since the revolutionary leader came to power, and these military trucks are one hundred percent made in Burkina-Faso. Other countries on the continent of Africa are now following the footsteps of Capt. Ibrahim Traore to get things done the right way in their various countries which is nice. Most Western countries are not happy that Africa is developing rapidly. They believe that if Africa develops and stands on its own, it will affect them seriously. Hence, they are doing everything possible to make sure that African countries remain underdeveloped. Our advice to countries in the West is this: support African countries to stand on their own like China and Russia are doing so that the West cannot be left out completely. Right now, China and Russia are beginning to take key positions in terms of making business deals with countries in Africa because they are transparent and always ready to negotiate, unlike the Western countries that feel that they can eat their cakes and still have them. Such an era of dominance is long gone. No one can fool all the people all the time, so the Western countries should either play on Africa’s terms or leave quietly to allow those countries that are willing to work with Africa to stay and do their things.
