The United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced recently that it will bear the cost of treating 100 Somalis who were injured in Mogadishu blasts and also take care of children of those injured and orphans who lost their parents in the attacks. The country (UAE) also said it would send medical supplies and medicines to Somalia hospitals in order to boost their healthcare capacity in treating the wounded people. This is nice and Viewers Corner News team appreciates the humanitarian gestures of UAE authorities (President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, with the support of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Dhafra Region and President of Emirates Red Crescent) who want to alleviate the suffering of the Somalia people and improve their conditions. On Saturday, October 14, 2017, powerful twin bomb explosions was detonated in Somalia’s capital (Mogadishu) near major government ministries, including foreign affairs killing more than 300 people and seriously injured hundreds of others.
