The revolution across Africa has put most Western countries in a panic mood. The new generation of leaders in Africa has said that enough is enough, and they cannot be taken for granted anymore. Africans are not against the West and can never be. But what they have decided is that whoever wants to work with countries on the continent of Africa shall do so on Africa’s terms and conditions. It is not going to be business as usual, where the West would dictate to African countries how to run their systems. Again, France, which has been in Africa for so many years, exploiting its natural resources has already started collapsing because the countries in Africa have stopped France from mining mineral resources. If France had done the right thing when they had the opportunity, no one would have sent them out, but they thought that African countries could never develop to the extent of challenging them. Hence, they took Africans for granted, and now the table has turned drastically. Even a former French minister is blaming President Emmanuel Macron for opening the eyes of Africa, meaning that Africans should not have known that France has been cheating them and collecting their natural resources to build France. What a funny and surprising statement coming from a minister in France. Right now, France is begging, asking Capt. Ibrahim Traore to allow them to come back to Burkina Faso and continue their mining operation in the country. France promised to make it a win-win situation. They also promised not to cheat African countries again. The big issue here is trust; Africans cannot trust France again. Countries on the continent of Africa believe that if France is given another opportunity, they may abuse it, so the best solution right now is for France to leave Africa alone. Information also revealed that all the coups executed in the past, which killed Africa’s past leaders, had the support of France as alleged. Now, France wants those countries to forget such atrocities so easily. Honestly, issues of this nature do not work that way. The United States, on its own, has been losing out since President Donald Trump came to office. The worst mistake he made was fighting China and his neighbours over tariff issues, which have backfired against the United States of America. Our findings showed that lots of jobs have been lost, and President Donald Trump right now does not have what it takes to put things right. Again, the world is watching closely to see how things will go.
