The insecurity in Nigeria has gotten the whole world talking. The world is not happy about how innocent Nigerians are being killed by terrorists and bandits in their own country. These ugly incidents happening in Nigeria have given us the opportunity as concerned citizens of the world to start carrying out investigations as a method of assisting the government of Nigeria to eradicate the insecurity in the country, especially in the northern part of Nigeria. We believe that if the government of Nigeria knows where these problems were coming from, they would be able to clean up that area completely. Now hear our point: it is a huge mistake on the part of the government of Nigeria and very wrong to have the surrendered Boko Haram terrorists and bandits, who have been killing Nigerians for and claimed that they have repented be enrolled in the Nigerian army or other sensitive divisions of the government. These groups of surrendered terrorists and bandits shall continue to be loyal to their original masters and not the government of Nigeria. Meaning that all the military secrets had been revealed to these repented terrorists and bandits, who are now Nigerian soldiers. This is the major reason the Nigerian army is being attacked and overpowered at all times. Again, these groups of repented terrorists and bandits who are now Nigerian soldiers are passing vital information to where they came from. Therefore, the best thing to do at this point would be to have all of them who are in the army discharged immediately. Again, if the government of Nigeria wants to assist them, they should allow them to learn a trade, certainly not join the army or anything that has to do with the security of Nigeria. We were informed that a senior military officer in Nigeria allegedly said that any repentant Boko Haram terrorist or bandit can aspire to be a leader in Nigeria. Such a statement is wrong and laughable because these groups of repented terrorists and bandits are individuals with two faces and cannot change from their evil ways. They have blood on their hands, so they should be kept away from sensitive areas. Forgiveness is good, but bringing them closer to where sensitive information concerning Nigeria’s defence is should be a no-go area. We believe that if the government of Nigeria can abide by these rules sincerely, the insecurity in Nigeria, especially in the northern part of the country would be reduced, if not completely eradicated. We are therefore appealing to the government of Nigeria to reform the Nigerian military because some senior military officers have compromised their position.
