The Peoples Democratic Party of Nigeria led the country for so many years and could not lay a solid foundation so that whoever would take over from them would have a good starting point. When All Progressives Congress took over from the Peoples Democratic Party of Nigeria, they met so many unresolved economic issues, which All Progressives Congress could not handle adequately. Some members of the Peoples Democratic Party of Nigeria evaluated the activities of those vying to lead Nigeria and they concluded that as Nigerians, they have to put the people of the country first, irrespective of their political party’s norms. Some of them decided that they would support the presidential candidate they believed would get the job of fixing Nigeria done properly. In their opinion, it is the right thing to do, even though the constitution of their political party says otherwise. If you examine properly, you would see that Nigeria is bleeding and the citizens of Nigeria are in severe economic hardship. So the only person that can fix the economy of the country by laying a good foundation is Mr Peter Obi. Hence, the members of various political parties in Nigeria are supporting him. If you call such an anti-party, you may be correct because the constitution of the political party says so. But always remember that whatever we do in life, we should take the welfare of every human being to be our number one priority and not the political party’s norms.
