Remi Tinubu

The office of the First Lady of Nigeria is unconstitutional and should be scrapped.

We have talked about this topic in the past. We are reminding the authorities in Nigeria how money can be saved if this irrelevant office is completely scrapped. Each time the first lady of Nigeria visits a place, her convoy is huge: the excessive and extravagant spending mapped out for this office is uncalled for. It is absolutely wrong to waste Nigeria’s taxpayers’ money to finance this irrelevant office, which is unconstitutional. Money that would have been used to fix some important areas in the economy of Nigeria is being used for the first lady’s office. The APC/President Bola Tinubu’s government is not doing anything to control how Nigeria’s hard-earned money is recklessly being spent on irrelevant areas. Again, for Nigeria to move forward, the country’s leadership should cut down on reckless spending and end corruption and insecurity across the country. We believe that as long as these areas are not controlled, there is no way Nigeria can grow. The Nigerian voters also must elect credible leaders in the positions of authority; failing to do so would always bring economic hardship to the country. As Nigerians are preparing for the 2027 general elections, we are appealing to them to be careful about who they will cast their votes for. If you vote wrongly, then the economic hardship will continue. So the choice is yours to make. Be wise and vote wisely when the time comes.
