Since the alleged information from the government of Nigeria that African countries and others can come to Nigeria starting from 2020 without visa, the northern borders have become gateways to the country (Nigeria) without those foreigners waiting for the commencement date which is next year (2020). Viewers Corner News correspondent who visited Jos and other cities in the northern part of Nigeria reported that the influx is huge and it is on daily basis. The worry is that come 2023 elections, almost all those foreigners would claim to be citizens of Nigeria from the northern part of the country, perhaps because of religion and language similarities. However, it is nice that they chose to live and work in Nigeria which would bring benefit to the country (Nigeria), but we (Viewers Corner News team) are calling on the federal government of Nigeria to have those foreigners entering the country properly documented. Again, part of any country’s greatness is when it allows other nationals to come into the country and live, in doing so those foreigners would be contributing to the growth of the economy of the country which is great.
