The Chairman of the Lagos State NURTW and His Group Have Started Threatening Nigerians Who Will Not Vote for the All Progressives Congress in the 2027 Election.

In Nigeria, only a few people would likely vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2027, considering the backward state of the nation’s economy. Even a blind man knows that things are not working as they should, and that is why Nigerians are calling for change.

APC/President Bola Tinubu’s supporters, especially those from the southwest region, are reportedly threatening Nigerians living in Lagos State that if they fail to vote for the All Progressives Congress in 2027, they will face trouble.

Now hear this, we want to remind these individuals that Nigerians are not afraid of them, based on our findings. Nigerians only want peace to reign and nothing more. This system where certain groups in Lagos State attempt to force people to vote for the APC or face punishment may backfire. Let there be peace; allow Nigerians to make their own choices freely and stop the threats.

We are therefore appealing to the Chairman of the Lagos State NURTW and his group to tread carefully because no one has the monopoly of violence. During the 2023 election, some Nigerians were beaten in Lagos State simply for not voting for the APC, and now, similar reports are emerging again. This must be condemned completely.

Nigerians have every right to vote for any candidate they believe can manage the country’s resources effectively. Forcing or threatening them to vote for a particular candidate especially one who lacks the capacity to lead should be completely rejected. Nigerians must elect leaders with competence and integrity if they truly want the country to grow and move forward.
