THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT RESISTED THE REQUEST TO REIMPOSE THE CORONAVIRUS RESTRICTIONS.

The British government has resisted requests to reimpose the new coronavirus restrictions. The government warned that such measures would be required if the deployment of vaccination booster doses fails to stop the virus’ deterioration. It was reported that Britain is reporting one of the highest rates of new cases of the virus in the world as the vaccines’ effectiveness wanes. The government stated that many restrictions, such as mask-wearing requirements and encouragement to work from home, which were lifted in July, may be reinstated. Also, nightclub goers and others may be asked to produce proof of vaccination or a recent negative test. Many people believe that in the United Kingdom, coronavirus cases are increasing because many young people are unvaccinated and schools do not enforce the use of masks. According to the report, the United Kingdom has reported almost 40,000 new cases in the past seven days.
