ADC

The ADC coalition in Nigeria may be heading for failure, judging by the profiles of some of its members and their deceitful ways.

Information reaching Viewers Corner News from our correspondent in Abuja, Nigeria, suggests that the ADC coalition may already be struggling internally. Reports indicate that former vice president Mr. Atiku Abubakar, who is a key member of the coalition, allegedly stated that he would step down if a younger candidate wins the party’s primary.

Many Nigerians see this statement as a joke. Realistically, as long as Mr. Atiku Abubakar remains in the political party, it is believed he will use his financial power to secure the ticket. Saying he would step down for a younger candidate sounds unrealistic, considering how Nigerian politics operates.

By the time Mr. Atiku Abubakar begins to spend heavily to win party members over, the game will surely change. With how things currently stand, it seems likely that the ruling APC and President Bola Tinubu could still manipulate their way into power again in 2027. This is mainly because Nigerians have not yet found a credible and stable political party they can fully trust to move the nation forward.
