Hadian Al Qahtani who was found guilty of shooting dead a man called Abdullah Al Qaoud following a dispute has been executed by the Saudi Arabia on Sunday, March 13, 2016. His execution made it a total number of 72 people executed in the kingdom this year, 2016 and most people that were put to death were beheaded with a sword. on Saturday, January 2, 2016, a total number of 47 people were executed for terrorism in Saudi Arabia. Under the strict legal code of the kingdom (Saudi Arabia), murder, rape, apostasy, drug trafficking and armed robbery are all punishable by death.
