Samsung Electronics has agreed to buy auto-systems maker Harman at the cost of 8 billion dollars and the company (Samsung Electronics) announced this recently. According to the information, Harman provides connected cars and audio systems with safety and entertainment features, over 30 million cars are equipped with its auto systems. Samsung Electronics has been acquiring overseas companies, the company bought a cloud service company, a mobile payments firm, a connected home startup and an artificial intelligence firm Viv Labs which was founded by the creators of Apple’s Siri. The electronic company (Samsung) plans to retain Harman’s management team while keeping it as an independent subsidiary company.
