Professor Mahmood Yakubu, Nigeria’s retired INEC Chairman, shall be remembered in the history of the country as one of those who destroyed Nigeria’s democracy.

History will not forget or forgive Professor Mahmood Yakubu, who just retired from office as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman. As the corrupt man that he is, those in government allegedly used him to get to power by offering him large sums of money.

‎This same man, before leaving office, allegedly registered more new political parties and also called for a reform of the electoral process after he had destroyed Nigeria’s democratic system by announcing the 2023 presidential election result, which had many discrepancies.

‎Right now, the government of Nigeria has appointed Professor Joash Ojo Amupitan (SAN), who may probably do their bidding in the next Nigerian general elections come 2027.

Now hear this: as we said in our past articles, a day shall come when those leaders who took bribes and sold their consciences shall be called upon to give an account of what happened when they were in office. And if proper explanations are not given, then they will face the law of Nigeria and possibly be made to serve a long jail term.
