Majority of people in Angola were rejoicing when the news came to them that the long serving president (Jose Eduardo Dos Santos) would be stepping down from power after being in office for 38 years but some of those people our (Viewers Corner News) correspondent spoke with in the country (Angola) revealed that they do not believe him because this is not the first time he has made such statement and later broke it. They also told us that even if he finally leaves office, he has already made necessary plans to be leading the country from behind which means he may not be physically sitting in the presidential office but every matter would always be decided by him which is not a complete handover of power because he is a man who loves power so much. His family and his close associates are the one in charge of running the affairs of the country (Angola), it is like a family business and if you are an outsider, you do not stand any chance of getting into the ruling class. This is the same as a Monarch which is very terrible and bad, normally democracy does not work that way. In the past it was revealed that his daughter (Isabel Dos Santos) is among the richest women in Africa because the father being the president of Angola has placed his immediate family members in charge of all the riches (petroleum products) of the country (Angola). Even one of his sons moves around the world with his numerous beautiful ladies on his private jet while majority of people in Angola can barely feed well, this attitude is everywhere in African politics so is not a new thing. That is why we (Viewers Corner News) shall continue to pray to God to bring leaders into various countries within the continent (Africa) who would work for the betterment of the people of Africa. We believe that someday God will answer our prayers because the sufferings which majority of Africans are passing through in the hands of their corrupt leaders is becoming too much. Despite all the wealth God has planted in each of the countries within the continent (Africa), still the poverty and sufferings of African people continues without end. This is too bad.
