The war on corruption in Nigeria is yielding values and shall remain so in the country. Nigerians have seen the terrible effect of what corruption can do to the economy of the country (Nigeria) if not controlled, all thanks to the government of president Buhari of Nigeria. Just look at this huge sum of money (650 million Naira) which Mrs Jumoke Akinjide looted with impunity under the leadership of PDP/ex-president Goodluck Jonathan’s government. If this huge sum of money (650 million) was invested as at when it was looted, by now a huge difference would have been recorded in the economy of Nigeria. The same goes to others who looted the treasury of the country (Nigeria) which president Buhari and his team had recovered so far. However, we (Viewers Corner News team) shall continue to appreciate the recovery effort of president Buhari and his team, they are doing a great job.
We (Viewers Corner News team) would use this opportunity to plead with the federal government of Nigeria to re-assess their programs on issue of security because the country (Nigeria) is facing lots of challenges concerning the protection of her citizens and if a country is not secured, no matter the good works the government of the day is doing, the citizens of that country in question would still see them as doing nothing. Therefore, we (Viewers Corner News team) are calling on the federal government of Nigeria to kindly put security as their number one priority which would add more to the confidence the Nigerian people both home and abroad had for them when they took over power.
