Most Nigerians who voted for President Buhari did so because of his strict principles in the 80s. When President Buhari and late General Tunde Idiagbon were leading Nigeria during their military days, most Nigerians believed in them, which made it possible for him to be elected as the president of Nigeria. Today, President Buhari as a democrat, is not the same as in the 80s. President Buhari said that he had given his best to the people of Nigeria, which in our opinion, is not correct. His government has performed below expectation, most especially on the economy and security issues. Look at the insecurity across the country and the unemployment rate in Nigeria. It is so alarming. Every time, a massive amount of money is being borrowed, bringing Nigeria’s debt to a very high level. However, since President Buhari’s best has already been given, most Nigerians at home and abroad say that his best is not good enough. Therefore, Nigerians should carefully elect a leader who would work to make the economy of Nigeria work better. The Viewers Corner News team believes that Professor Yemi Osinbajo, the vice president of Nigeria, will do well if he is allowed to lead Nigeria.
