Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party.

‎Peter Obi’s Statement That He Is Not a Saint but Not a Thief Says It All

Mr. Peter Obi is one of the best politicians in Nigeria who is not corrupt. He openly stated that he is not a saint, but certainly not a thief, and this is reassuring to hear.

‎Mr. Peter Obi reminded Nigerians that he is one of the few politicians in the country who can genuinely get the job done if given the opportunity to lead Nigeria in 2027. This fact is well known among Nigerian politicians, which is why many of them are working tirelessly to stain his name. However, the majority of Nigerians are firmly behind him, and this is encouraging.

‎Mr. Peter Obi and the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua remain the only former leaders in Nigeria who governed their states and left behind substantial funds for their successors to build upon. If it were many of the governors we see today, all public funds would have been looted, leaving empty treasuries behind. For this reason alone, Mr. Peter Obi deserves serious consideration as the leader of Nigeria.

‎Mr. Peter Obi’s statement that he is not a saint but certainly not a thief is a powerful message that resonates with Nigerians. These are words capable of convincing any reasonable Nigerian that he is a man of integrity. If Nigerian politicians would simply stop stealing public funds meant for national development, more than half of Nigeria’s current problems would be solved.

‎This is why many Nigerians want Mr. Peter Obi to become the president of Nigeria in 2027, as his track record remains clean and transparent. If Mr. Peter Obi were corrupt or had committed any crime during his time as governor of Anambra State, law enforcement agencies would have investigated and prosecuted him long ago. Yet, no wrongdoing has been established against him.

‎Nigeria urgently needs honest leadership rooted in accountability and service to the people. Mr. Peter Obi’s record, words, and conduct over the years clearly set him apart from many others in Nigerian politics. His transparency, prudence, and commitment to public trust make him a strong candidate for national leadership. Nigerians who desire a future free from corruption and mismanagement should seriously consider electing Mr. Peter Obi as president in 2027.
