The whole world is aware of how some corrupt leaders in Nigeria sold their consciences for personal gain and, at the same time, played politics with the lives of the people of Nigeria. Look at how some foreign nationals are using their NGOs to destabilize Nigeria, and leaders of the country are watching without taking action to correct them. This is terrible. We have also seen how the management of the Nigerian military is going around asking the youths of Nigeria to join the army. But this military has compromised its integrity for personal gain. Information has it that the terrorists who are terrorizing the northern part of Nigeria have foreign sponsors, which some Nigerians are aware of. It was also revealed how a chopper was seen in the forest somewhere in Nigeria delivering services to the terrorists, and the Nigerian military saw all this. Still, they could not do anything to stop such a terrible situation. Again, the leadership of the Nigerian army is sending junior officers to go and fight these terrorists, who have more sophisticated weapons than them. These terrorists in Nigeria have drones, as alleged. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the government of Nigeria to carry out a proper investigation to know the corrupt people behind them. Even these terrorists have the mind to go into army barracks in Nigeria to attack the soldiers. So, based on all these ugly incidents happening across Nigeria, we are appealing to the people of Nigeria, who are the voters, to choose wisely who will lead the country in 2027. Voters should leave sentiment aside and vote for leaders with credibility, leaders with zero tolerance when it comes to issues of insecurity and progress of the Nigerian people. We also believe that if a leader like Capt. Ibrahim Traore of Burkina Faso is elected to office in Nigeria, insecurity will be trashed out completely. Some leaders in the northern part of Nigeria should stop playing politics with the lives of their people; these leaders are doing so because of the illegal mining activities going on in the northern part of the country, as alleged. But a day shall come when a leader with vision will be elected to office. Then, he would say, “Enough is enough,” and starting from that moment, the insecurity in Nigeria is certainly going to be eradicated.
