The federal government of Nigeria has never owed any state in Nigeria, which is a fact based on our findings. It is true that when things are going wrong in the country, all eyes are focused on the federal government of Nigeria, but if you examine it critically, you will not blame the federal government alone. In our opinion, governors in Nigeria are the major problem in the country. Every month, the federal government of Nigeria pays allocation, including security votes, which run into billions of Naira. This Security votes is meant to take care of the security of the states and bring peace to the doorsteps of all the people. When governors in Nigeria receive large sums of money as security votes, it is alleged that more than half of it goes into their personal pockets or it is spent on irrelevant projects that do not benefit their states. Many of these governors in Nigeria are so incompetent that they do not know how to run the affairs of their states. Again, if governors could spend a little of these security votes on security issues, their states would be at peace. The Viewers Corner News team is calling on Nigerians to ask their governors what they are doing with the security votes. No governor in Nigeria has been able to create real employment for the people of their states, which again has led us to ask the governors how their monthly allocations and the internally generated revenues of their states are being spent. Nigerians should not only look at the federal government of Nigeria for their needs but hold their governors responsible for the problems of the country. If Nigerians keep asking their governors questions, then they will sit tight and do the work they are elected to do for the people of their states.
