The collective spirit of Nigerians, both at home and abroad, has already turned against the APC and President Bola Tinubu’s government.
The severe economic hardship and growing insecurity across Nigeria have brought Nigerians together in rejection of the All Progressives Congress. This growing dissatisfaction is expected to have a serious impact on the APC in the 2027 presidential election. Many Nigerians believe that if a truly free and fair election were conducted today, voting would be concluded swiftly and a clear winner announced without controversy.
Based on widespread public opinion and observations, Nigerians have already made up their minds. The belief is strong that the All Progressives Congress can no longer lead Nigeria effectively, as many feel the party has nothing meaningful to offer the people. Its performance in governance has been widely criticised, and this dissatisfaction is expected to reflect clearly at the polls in 2027.
As the next presidential election approaches, we also call on the Independent National Electoral Commission and judges across various courts in Nigeria to conduct themselves responsibly and avoid any form of misconduct. Nigerians are increasingly frustrated, and there are concerns that attempts to undermine the will of the people could provoke extreme reactions.
INEC officials and members of the judiciary are therefore urged to act with integrity and allow the votes of Nigerians to count. The stability of the nation depends on a transparent and credible electoral process.
Nigeria stands at a critical point in its democratic journey. Economic hardship and insecurity have reshaped public opinion and united Nigerians in demanding better leadership. As 2027 approaches, the message from the people is clear: their votes must count, and their will must be respected. A free, fair, and transparent election remains the only path to peace, stability, and national progress.
