It is clear at this point that the education most of us acquired does not make us better managers, it only misled us into believing that we are better leaders than those of our forefathers who never went to any school but were able to run their communities and various homes with some of them having so many wives to care for and still were able to manage them perfectly well during their time. These were great men with wisdom and should be regarded as great leaders with intelligence. They organized themselves peacefully before the white men came with their corrupt system which is killing Nigeria till today. Again the educated ones who called themselves politicians in Nigeria would use the poor innocent Nigerians to climb to power with the promise of creating a good life for them, using their sweet tongues to manipulate and convince them, which to an extent is what the white man’s system has brought to the country (Nigeria). This system does not show intelligence at all and until we as people stopped copying certain wrong attitudes of the white man’s system, things may not change for good. It is good to know how to read and write that is quite alright but our (Viewers Corner News) argument here is that we should retrace our footsteps and start thinking like Africans and with that, we are going to be respected more by those that brought these aspect of corrupt system to us which is also called civilization. Now if a vice president of a country can use 250 million Naira to build a gate as alleged for his three bed room home alone, what does that teach us? If a prayer house which is less than a 100 square meter can also cost 200 million Naira as alleged, what does this tell us? If the ex-Nigerian governors can be receiving billions of Naira as pension allowances after serving only four years or eight years in office, what does this tell us? Does this attitude portray us as people who are intelligent and understand what we are doing and at the same time care for those that elected us to work and better the situation of the country (Nigeria). Now we leave you all to think and figure out the answers to the above questions because as it is now, those in power have already formed a clique from father to son and also to my very good friend sort of attitude thereby using the ordinary Nigerians to achieve their high standard ways of living while those poor ones remain in abject poverty. This is unacceptable. However our (Viewers Corner News team) system of writing is to create awareness and let the Nigerian people understand that the politicians we voted for to lead the country (Nigeria) are the problems Nigeria is having till today and the only way to correct this problem is by speaking out. Do not sit on the fence, let the ordinary Nigerians start speaking with one voice by using their voting power without sentiments or being manipulated by any Nigerian politician that would want us to do his or her bidding because those politicians can not succeed properly without the support of all Nigerians which makes us powerful in our own way. We should let the politicians know that the way and manner Nigerian hard earned money is being wasted on things that are not important is heartbreaking and enough is enough. They can not be living in mansions receiving billions as pension allowances, building ordinary gate for 250 million Naira and also a prayer house which would cost about 200 million Naira while the ordinary Nigerians who voted them to power remain with hunger on daily basis. This attitude is unacceptable because the money they are using belong to all Nigerians and not for them alone. Please Nigerian politicians, show more concerns to the Nigerian people by carrying them along. Create a good condition that would make them live a normal and happy life.
