Nigeria Seeking France’s Help in Tax Collection Is a National Disgrace

A sovereign nation like Nigeria asking France to assist in collecting taxes from its own citizens is a disgrace and completely unacceptable.

This is what happens when incompetent leaders force themselves into positions of power. A leader like President Bola Tinubu, who claims to be an accountant by profession but has not convincingly explained how or where he obtained his educational qualifications, and who many Nigerians believe came into office through questionable means, is now involving France in Nigeria’s tax collection system. This is shameful.
Nigeria is blessed with some of the best minds in the world, yet the country continues to be directed by people with questionable character and competence. It is shocking that a nation with Nigeria’s human capacity cannot manage its own internal systems without external involvement.

France has been openly rejected by several African countries it once colonised because of its historical exploitation and poor treatment of those nations. Now, Nigeria’s government has chosen to partner with the same France, a decision many Nigerians find deeply troubling and unacceptable.

Based on this development, we are calling on Nigerian voters to reject the APC and President Bola Tinubu’s government by voting them out of office in 2027. The All Progressives Congress and its leadership, in the view of many Nigerians, have nothing to offer the country except economic hardship, poverty, and insecurity.

Nigeria’s sovereignty and dignity must never be compromised. A country that cannot manage its own tax system risks losing control over its future. Decisions that undermine national pride and independence only deepen public anger and distrust. As 2027 approaches, Nigerians are being urged to make a clear choice about the direction of the country and the kind of leadership they want. This is the truth. Take it or leave it.
