We (Viewers Corner News team) commend highly Mr. Omoyele Sowore who is a great man and a presidential hopeful in Nigeria for letting the world most especially those in the Eastern part of Nigeria to know that the wife of the first premier of Eastern Nigeria (Lolo Adanma Enyidiya Okpara) is still much alive and healthy. This is great and historical. Honestly, those ex-governors who led Abia state (Nigeria) in the past up to the present governor did not do much for this great woman (Lolo Okpara) who is the wife of late Mr. Michael Okpara (the first premier of Eastern Nigeria during the First Republic, from 1959 to 1966). We (Viewers Corner News team) are saying so because behind every successful man, there is always his wife around him as a source of inspiration to get to the top and most of what the present day politicians in the south east (Nigeria) are enjoying today is part of what Mr and Mrs Michael Okpara worked for during their days in office. Now that Lolo Okpara is still alive and healthy, we (Viewers Corner News team) expect the Abia state government to do more for this great woman. Her residence is nothing to write home about and as a historical figure, we expect Abia state government to play a greater role in this regard. Another surprising aspect is that the Abia state government (Nigeria) did not know how to use what they have to generate income for the state. We (Viewers Corner News team) are talking about the “Biafra War Museum” in Umuahi, Abia state (Nigeria) which looks so nasty. Sincerely, such historical site can generate millions of Naira to Abia state government if properly managed, however we (Viewers Corner News team) are appealing to Abia state government (Nigeria) through the commissioner in charge of tourism in the state to kindly do his home work properly and get the Biafra War Museum upgraded. Again such historical war museum would be a great source of revenue to Abia state (Nigeria) through tourism.
