No matter how old Mr. Atiku Abubakar thinks he will be in 2027, such a mindset would not have been an issue to some extent if only he could be honest with himself by obeying the rules of the game. Now hear this: it is believed that power should go to the South, and after the South has completed their eight years, which is two tenures, then power would go back to the North, where they can do eight years. But because of Mr. Atiku Abubakar’s desperation, he does not want to play by the rules, which is so surprising to most Nigerians.
Normally, if Mr. Atiku Abubakar can step down and support a candidate from the South, preferably Mr. Peter Obi, who has promised to do only one term, after that, the majority of the Obidient family would gladly support Mr. Atiku Abubakar, which in the end would give him a straight win to the presidency of Nigeria. But now, Mr. Atiku Abubakar has refused such an arrangement, as alleged, which would eventually divide the votes, thereby making it possible for APC/President Bola Tinubu to win the next presidential election in 2027.
Based on this, we are appealing to Mr. Atiku Abubakar to support a Southern presidential candidate to finish the South’s remaining four years, and after that, the South will most likely support his ambition to be the president of Nigeria. By doing so, Nigerians will know that he has the interests of Nigerians at heart, rather than just wanting to be the president of Nigeria by all means.
Sincerely, Nigerians are looking for a leader who will fix the already messed-up country, but with Mr. Atiku Abubakar and his associates wanting power at all costs, we believe that their leadership would be worse than that of the APC/President Bola Tinubu’s government. So Nigerians, be wise and do the needful when the time comes.
We also believe that Mr. Atiku Abubakar has absolutely nothing to offer the people of Nigeria; this is the truth, take it or leave it. We are saying so because the handwriting is already written boldly on the wall for all Nigerians to see. Again, looking at the profiles of some of those ADC members who are planning to unseat President Bola Tinubu’s government, it looks so funny, and that is the reality.
