MAHMOUD AL-WERFALLI (LIBYA MILITANT LEADER) WANTED BY THE INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT FOR ALLEGED WAR CRIMES HAS BEEN ARRESTED.

Mahmoud Al-Werfalli (Libya militant leader) who is wanted by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for alleged war crimes has been arrested by the Libya’s army. Mahmoud Al-Werfalli whose warrant for arrested was issued recently is a commander in special forces unit under eastern Libya’s self-styled army called LNA. Werfalli was accused of ordering and carrying out the killings of 33 people in the Benghazi over the past year. It was also alleged that those he killed were unarmed men who were shot at the back of their heads.
