John Wayne Conner, a 60 year old Georgia death row inmate who beat his friend to death in 1982 has been executed. According to the information our correspondent gathered, John Wayne Conner who had spent 34 years in Georgia death row was convicted in Telfair County of beating his friend (J.T. White) to death during a fight over Conner’s girlfriend (Beverly Bates) after a night of partying in January 9, 1982. He was executed by lethal injection of pentobarbital at the early hour of Friday, July 15, 2016. John Wayne Conner is the sixth murderer executed in Georgia this year.
