The people of Benue State in Nigeria are the most targeted by terrorists and bandits. We do not know why these terrorists and bandits have chosen to be killing them like that. These are human beings going about their businesses without hurting anyone. The sad aspect is that the government of Nigeria is not doing much to end these attacks against the people of Benue State, which is bad.
Again, what do Nigerians expect when killers believed to be repented terrorists and bandits are being recruited into the army, including other sensitive positions, where vital information concerning the operations of the Nigerian military may be leaked to their colleagues in their hideouts? This is the outcome. Things like this would continue to happen until a great leader is elected to office who would change strategy; perhaps that is when things would get better.
We also believe that the Nigerian military is not being honest in the job of protecting Nigerians across the country. Hence, we are appealing to the government of Nigeria to figure out where these problems are and see if they can get them sorted out once and for all.
Insecurity is the number one reason why there is a food shortage in Nigeria because farmers can no longer go to their farms to plant or harvest their crops because of fear of being killed by terrorists and bandits. This is a huge problem that the government of Nigeria should, as a matter of urgency, eradicate so that the country can return to normal again.
