Ekiti state (Nigeria) election is this weekend (Saturday, 14 July 2018) and a leader is expected to be elected which is great. We (Viewers Corner News team) are reminding the great people of Ekiti state (Nigeria) to have in their mind that whoever they vote for to lead the state shall determine to a huge extent how successful Ekiti state would be in the near future. Again, Viewers Corner News and the Advisory team would also use this opportunity to remind the great people of Ekiti state (Nigeria) that governor Ayodele Fayose and his choice of candidate who refused to pay workers’ salaries and Pensioners’ allowances can never be the best choice for Ekiti state and a vote for governor Ayodele Fayose’s candidate is a vote for hunger, corruption and non-payment of workers’ salaries and pensioners’ allowances. Another sad aspect was the death of some pensioners in Ekiti state (Nigeria) who never lived to enjoy what they worked for due to stress related illness as a result of not getting their pension allowances to buy food and medicine to treat themselves which later resulted to death. Honestly, this is a sad situation and no voter in Ekiti state would like to have such group of leaders to continue leading the state like governor Ayodele Fayose and his choice of candidate. Therefore, we (Viewers Corner News team) are appealing to voters in Ekiti state (Nigeria) to do the right thing by voting the progressives (Dr Fayemi of APC) to power which would enable the people of Ekiti state (Nigeria) enjoy the dividend of a true democracy. We (Viewers Corner News and the Advisory team) are against any governor in Nigeria and his choice of candidate who are unable to pay workers’ salaries and pensioners’ allowances from being elected to office. This group of politicians are bad news to governance and have no business leading the people.
