So many Nigerians are saying that Mahmood Yakubu, who served as the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission of Nigeria in 2023, sold the presidency to Alhaji Bola Tinubu. This means that Alhaji Bola Tinubu did not win the 2023 presidential election, but because of his money, he was able to get there. If this is true and Nigerians want to end this recklessness, they should do away with tribal sentiment and come together as a team to fight a system that has brought the country backward. Nigerians should stop collecting bribes to vote for leaders who cannot perform their jobs properly. Again, if Nigerians can speak with one voice, they can achieve their objectives. In 2014, Alhaji Bola Tinubu, who is now the president of Nigeria, protested against ex-president Goodluck Jonathan’s government. He allegedly said that Nigeria has no government and that if Nigeria had a government, the insecurity at that time would not have been so, but now that Alhaji Bola Tinubu is the president of Nigeria, the insecurity under his leadership is worse. Now terrorists and bandits are killing Nigerians left and right. Even these terrorists were seen using drones to attack Nigerian soldiers and also using choppers to deliver services to their men in the forests, which is so surprising. The APC/President Bola Tinubu’s government is unable to stop these terrorists and bandits from carrying out their terrible activities, so the people of Nigeria should do the needful when the time comes by electing a leader who would eradicate insecurity and bring peace to the country.
