The purpose of writing this article is to advise Mr. David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, a legend with a good heart, to stop allowing Grammy Award organizers to use him and his music to promote their brand in Afrobeats. In the end, they do not give him any award; instead, they give it to another musician whose music is not up to standard when compared to Mr. David Adeleke’s music.
Again, Mr. David Adeleke is a legend and will remain great among Afrobeats musicians, whether he wins a Grammy or not. Therefore, we are directing this message personally to Davido. If, in the future, the Grammy Award organizers invite him for a possible award, he should reject it immediately because he will not be given the award. They are only using him and his music to promote their brand, as mentioned earlier in this write-up.
